Use Payment ID as Payout Reference

Choose which reference from the payout Junipeer uses to find the invoice or order in Fortnox.

A payout usually carries two references for each payment:

• the merchant reference – usually your order number, and

• the payment ID – usually the Shopify order ID.

Options

• No, use payment (merchant) reference (default)

• Yes, use Payment (order) ID

• Use Payment (order) ID, then (merchant) Reference if not found

• Use (merchant) Reference, then Payment (order) ID if not found

Pick the one that matches what you store in the field chosen in Payout Reference Field.

Good to know

• If payouts come through a separate integration for the payment provider (for example Klarna), both integrations must agree on which field carries the order reference.
