Yes – use the GraphQL API. This is recommended, and the right choice for all new integrations.
No – use the older REST API. Shopify has deprecated it and it will be removed in the future.
Good to know
If you switch an existing integration from REST to GraphQL and you have created custom mappings, check them all again afterwards. The data structure (JSON) is different between the two APIs.
