Shopify Delivery Date format

What this does

Use this setting to tell the system how delivery dates are written in Shopify.

This is needed so the date can be read correctly when orders are imported or exported.

Why this matters

Different stores may write dates in different ways.

For example, the date 01/12/2025 could mean:

• 1 December 2025 if the format is dd/mm/yyyy

• 12 January 2025 if the format is mm/dd/yyyy

Choosing the correct format prevents the system from reading the wrong delivery date.

How to write the format

Use:

• dd for day

• mm for month

• yyyy for a 4-digit year

• yy for a 2-digit year

Examples

dd/mm/yyyy = 15/02/2025

mm/dd/yyyy = 02/15/2025

yyyy-mm-dd = 2025-02-15

d/m/yy = 5/2/25

If this field is left empty, the system will use:

dd/mm/yyyy
