This guide walks you through setting up your Junipeer integration after signing your agreement. Follow the steps in order — most integrations go live within a day.
Step 1 — Start a free trial
If you haven't already created an account, sign up for a free trial before proceeding: junipeer.io/free-trial
If your account was already set up as part of the sales process, skip this step and go directly to app.junipeer.io.
Step 2 — Access the Junipeer app
Log in at app.junipeer.io. You'll land on your dashboard where your integration is listed. Open it and navigate to Get Started in the left sidebar to begin the setup pipeline.
Step 3 — Work through the Get Started pipeline
a) Select flows
Choose which data flows are relevant to your business — for example, orders, customers, stock, or articles. You can also set the sync direction for supported flows (e.g. Shopify → Fortnox or the reverse). Only enable what you actually need; you can always add more later.
b) Connect systems
Authenticate each platform by providing credentials or granting app access. The exact steps vary by connector — refer to the relevant connector guide for your specific integration pair.
c) Configure settings
Map and configure how data is handled between your systems.
Pay extra attention to recommended filters and mandatory settings — these are highlighted in the UI and directly affect whether your integration behaves correctly.
Most optional settings can be left at their defaults and revisited later if test results reveal a gap.
d) Test integration
Create sample test orders in your source system, then enter their IDs in the Junipeer UI to trigger a test sync. Verify that the result appears correctly in your connected system before moving on.
If a test fails, review your settings — especially filters and mandatory fields — before re-running.
e) Start syncing
Configure automated, time-based sync operations. This is your go-live step — once enabled, Junipeer will process data on the schedule you define. Make sure testing is complete before enabling.
