10 minutes
  1. 1

    Log in to Customer Area

Open the Adyen Customer Area and select the correct company account.

  2. 2

    Open API credentials

Go to Developers → API credentials.

  3. 3

    Create or select the credential

Your account includes default API credentials. You can also create a dedicated web service user if you want a separate credential for Junipeer.

  4. 4

    Generate the API key

Open the credential, go to Server settings → Authentication → API key, and select Generate API key.

  5. 5

    Copy the values securely

Save the generated Username and API key immediately. Adyen does not let you copy the API key again after you leave the page.

  6. 6

    Review roles and permissions

Make sure the credential has the roles required for the Adyen APIs Junipeer will call.

  7. 7

    Paste the credentials into Junipeer

Enter the Username and API key in the Adyen connection settings in Junipeer.

Create or receive the technical credentials

Have the system owner, vendor, or implementation partner create the required integration access according to the agreed setup.

  4. 4

    Add the credentials in Junipeer

Enter the issued credentials, host details, and any tenant-specific identifiers in the Junipeer admin when requested.

  5. 5

Verify in a non-production environment first

Run a controlled connection test before enabling a live data flow.
